DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – While responding to a house fire on Friday, with emergency lights and siren activated, a St. Louis County Sheriff’s Deputy rear ended another vehicle while northbound on Woodland Avenue.
The crash occurred in Duluth near the intersection with St. Paul Avenue just after noon.
The 69 year old woman driver of the vehicle that was hit was hospitalized with serious injuries and two of the three passengers in the car were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. The deputy declined medical treatment.
The incident is under investigation by Duluth Police.
