DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The results of the 2025 Bridge To Health Survey are now available.
The Generations Health Care Initiatives report, issued every five years, tracks critical health data in northeastern Minnesota and Douglas County in Wisconsin.
Among the key findings in the latest survey are a three percent increase in the uninsured rate, fewer adults currently using tobacco while those trying e-cigarettes has increased by eight percent over the last five years.
Around the region, over 50 percent of households report having difficulty providing healthy food with cost being the top barrier.
More than 40 organizations across ten counties and the City of Duluth sponsor the health survey project which has provided valued information on key health indicators for 30 years.
