(Reuters) -Kroger said on Wednesday PepsiCo executive David Kennerley would succeed Todd Foley as the company’s chief financial officer, effective April 3.
The U.S. grocer announced last February that Foley would take over the role on an interim basis, after former CFO Gary Millerchip stepped down.
Foley would continue as interim CFO through the end of Kroger’s fiscal year 2024 reporting cycle, Kroger said. He will serve on the senior leadership team to support the company during the CFO transition period until the end of its first quarter.
Kennerley is currently the senior vice president and CFO for PepsiCo Europe, a role he has held since March 2020.
