DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A special event is being held Thursday at the Lincoln Park Farmers Market in Duluth to mark National Farmers Market Week.
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture, the Department of Health, Minnesota Grown, the Farmers Union and Land Stewardship Project will all have representatives at the Lincoln Park Farmers Market starting at 3 p-m.
There will be over 25 local vendors, live music, family friendly activities, a free community meal and a presentation from the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Brooke Cunningham.
The Farmers Market Association reports that Minnesota has 375 farmers markets around the state with over 10 thousand market vendors that participate.
The Lincoln Park Farmers Market is held each Thursday through September from 3-6 p-m at Harrison Park.
