WASHINGTON (Reuters) – GE The company said the hirings are prompted by efforts to supportĀ current aircraft engine programsĀ and develop new technologies. Most engineering roles are expected to be filled in the United States but it is hiring around the globe. With the new hires, GE Aerospace will employ about 53,000 people worldwide, Culp said at an appearance at the Economic Club of Washington.
