LONDON (Reuters) – Global steel demand is expected to rise by 1.7% to 1.793 billion metric tons in 2024, the World Steel Association said on Tuesday.
The industry group’s statement said that steel demand was expected to rise by 1.2% to 1.815 billion tons in 2025.
