PROCTOR, MN (KDAL) – The Proctor School District has announced that Superintendent John Engelking will be retiring effective this Friday.
Engelking has been Superintendent of Proctor Public Schools for twelve years and will stay on in an interim capacity while the board searches for his replacement.
The Proctor School Board accepted the letter of retirement at Monday’s meeting and Board Chair Jennifer McDonald says the schools have benefited in many ways through Engelking’s leadership and his influence can be seen throughout the district.
He was instrumental in creating and implementing a strategic plan to shape the future of the Proctor District.
