DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The downtown and Canal Park business district in Duluth will get a splash of color this week as flowers will fill the 60 landscape planters on sidewalks in the area.
Starting at 10 a-m, volunteers will be planting flowers along Superior Street on Wednesday and in Canal Park on Thursday.
The Downtown Duluth organization coordinates the planting effort and purchases the flowers while the Clean and Safe team maintains the planters through the summer season.
Volunteers should meet at Superior Street and 5th Avenue West near the Ordean Plaza Wednesday and in the parking lot at Buchanan Street and Lake Avenue on Thursday.
