DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth has declared a Snow Emergency that took effect at 1 p-m Tuesday and continues until 6 p-m on Wednesday.
Vehicles that were not removed from Snow Emergency Routes by 9 p-m Tuesday could be ticketed and towed at owners expense.
The Snow Emergency was called to help clean snow from the storm on Monday and another 4.2 inches that fell Tuesday night.
There is no parking on Emergency Routes during the emergency and parking on other residential streets is allowed on the odd side of the street this week.
Optional Snow Emergency Parking Lots are available on a first come, first served basis.
After the Snow Emergency Routes have been cleared, plows will work on other streets according to the City’s Snow and Ice Policy.
