FREDENBERG TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – The St. Louis County Rescue Squad used their Marsh Master vehicle to rescue three people and recover their boats from a river in Fredenberg Township Tuesday night.
The Sheriff’s Department says two people in a boat got stuck in mud and heavy vegetation on the Beaver River around 8:30 p-m.
A person in another boat tried to assist the stranded boaters and also ended up getting stuck.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
The Sheriff’s Office reminds boaters to use caution on area lakes and rivers since low water levels are exposing new hazards.
