DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota and Wisconsin Departments of Transportation are holding a virtual public meeting Tuesday to discuss the various concepts for rehabilitating or replacing the Blatnik Bridge.
In the next couple of years, decisions need to be made as the bridge, built in the early 1960’s, is showing significant deterioration and load restrictions have been put in place.
The bridge handles over 33 thousand vehicles a day and was widened in 1994.
