Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Runners take note, if your plan is to run the Grandma’s Marathon, but you haven’t registered yet—do so before Tuesday. That’s because the entry fee of $95 will go up to $110 starting April 1st. If you forget to register, that fee won’t increase any further before the registration closes May 31st. Nearly 6,200 participants have registered. That’s up by 600 versus this same time a year ago. Meanwhile, registration for the 2014 Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon was conducted last month by way of a lottery process where 6,700 runners were randomly selected. Entries can still be secured through one of the race’s four charity partners.
