Duluth, MN (KDAL) - We’re learning more about a fatal wreck that took the life of a Lake Nebagamon teen Wednesday afternoon. According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, 19 year-old Natasha Stariah was behind the wheel of a Chevy S-10 pickup, driving west on County Highway B—just west of Old Lyman Lake Road—when she collided with the rear end of a Ford Super Duty pickup truck, which was partially in the driving lane as a worker was in the ditch spraying brush. Stariah’s 15 year-old brother Seth, who was riding with her at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene. Natasha was transported to a Duluth hospital. A man in the pickup sitting in the truck’s driver’s seat was uninjured. County Highway B was closed for the rest of the afternoon and much of the evening as investigators reconstructed the crash scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
