Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Beach-goers take note—just in time for a warm, muggy weekend—the Minnesota Department of Health has issued a ‘Water Contact Not Recommended’ advisory for a Twin Ports beach. Authorities posted the advisory for the Minnesota Point Harborside/15th Street Beach after they detected high levels of E.coli bacteria, which indicates the possible presence of fecal contamination. The water was sampled Wednesday. The beach, formerly the New Duluth Boat Club/14th Street beach, is located on the harbor-side of Park Point.
