Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Grandma’s Sports Garden was awash in Minnesota Twins garb Thursday evening for the team’s annual winter caravan. Along for the ride this time was Hall of Fame pitcher Bert Blyleven, Twins bench coach Terry Steinbach, and current players Anthony Swarzak and Trevor Plouffe. More than 400 Twins fans turned out to hear about the team’s off-season moves and their strategy for the upcoming season. Fans also had a chance to ask them questions. Among the queries, one fan asked Trevor Plouffe how’d he celebrate a homerun. The third baseman answered by saying that he was taught not to make a spectacle and to instead shake hands once you got back in the dugout. Afterwards fans formed a line to get their coveted autographs. Proceeds raised from the night went to the A-L-S Association.
