Jason Aldean is currently working on his next studio album, but he's not sure how big a role his recent split from his wife of 12 years, Jessica , will play in his song selection.
Jason tells the Quad City Times , "The music may reflect it a little bit, but to me, stuff happens. It's a done deal and I don't dwell on those things. I'm all right. I don't think about that."
While he knows fans will try to read meaning into whatever he records on this next album, Jason isn't looking to unload his personal troubles on this next album.
"People can think whatever they want," Jason explains. "My feeling is that I'm going to go record an album and I'm going to find the best songs I can find."
Jason is now climbing the country charts with "When She Says Baby," the fifth and final single from his Grammy-nominated album, Night Train .
