SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - Superior Police teamed up with the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, Duluth Police and the Department of Homeland Security to conduct an undercover operation that focused on crimes associated with human trafficking and prostitution. The operation involved placing fictitious online advertisements where sexual services were offered in exchange for money. Five men from the area were arrested for misdemeanor Prostitution after answering the ads and showing up at the arranged meeting place. Another man was charged with felony Child Enticement for showing up for what he thought would be sex with a 15 year old girl. Those arrested ranged in age from 29 to 70 and are from Duluth, Cloquet and Nashwauk in Minnesota and Superior, Phillips and Foxboro in Wisconsin.
