DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - High water levels from the rapidly melting snow closed three roads in St. Louis County last week but they have now reopened to traffic after waters receded. However, three new roads have been posted with warning signs because of water on the roadway. The roads are considered passable at this time but motorists should use caution. Signs are posted on the North Tischer Road in Nomanna Township about a mile north of the Lismore Road, the Ugstad Road in Canosia Township north of the Martin Road and the Caribou Lake Road in Solway Township just north of the Helm Road. Public Works crews will continue monitoring roads conditions throughout the county and anyone who encounters dangerous road conditions should call 9-1-1.
