DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The City of Duluth is partnering with Vonco V Waste Management to demolish 12 to 20 blighted properties in next couple of years. Mayor Don Ness says that would make a big dent in the 35 properties that have been identified by the City's Blight Reduction Committee. The demolition cost would differ from property to property but would average about 15 to 20 thousand dollars. Vonco V officials hope to begin by October. When completed those properties would then be available for private development.
