Garth Brooks, Barry Gibb and More Salute Kenny Rogers At Country Music Hall of Fame Medallion Ceremony

Kenny Rogers , Bobby Bare and the late Cowboy Jack Clement were formally inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame Sunday night at the organization's annual Medallion Ceremony in Nashville. Country Music Hall of Fame member Garth Brooks was on hand to present Kenny with his medallion, and the Bee Gees ' Barry Gibb was there to sing the 1983 hit he wrote and produced for Kenny and Dolly Parton , "Islands in the Stream." Alison Krauss sang "Sweet Music Man" in Kenny's honor as well, and Kenny's five children and wife, Wanda, were by his side for the ceremony.

John Anderson , Emmylou Harris , Rodney Crowell , Kris Kristofferson and Tom T. Hall also took part in the Medallion Ceremony, which was held at the Hall of Fame's brand-new CMA Theater.
