DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Men As Peacemakers in collaboration with the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA), the American Indian Community Housing Organization and Mending the Sacred Hoop will host a Community Forum on Trafficking Monday. A study conducted by the Duluth Trafficking Task Force has revealed the extent of the problem in this area. During a month long study, 63 people self identified themselves as trafficking victims, some saying their first exposure to prostitution was when they were as young as 9 or 10. The forum will provide an avenue for men, the key consumer group in sex trafficking, to organize and tackle the problem. The Men Against Trafficking Forum begins at 6:30 p-m at the Duluth Labor Temple, 2002 London Road.
