UNDATED (KDAL) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced the 2013 Road Construction Program. A total of 1.1 billion dollars will be invested in bridge and road projects around the state with about 123 million dollars of work in northeastern Minnesota. Among the area projects: I-35 will continue to continue to sport orange barrels between Esko and Proctor as resurfacing continues. Some leftover work on the Blatnik Bridge will be completed and new decorative lighting will be installed. At least one lane in each direction will be open and most work will be done between 9 a-m and 3 p-m on weekdays. Motorists are asked to be alert for road crews and to slow down in the construction zones.
