DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A rally in support of continued Saturday postal service will be held today from noon to 1 p.m. at the corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street. Scott Dulas, a Duluth letter carrier, said the biggest reason for the event is to let people know that the USPS "wants to keep this and urge Congress to pass a law once and for all that says we want to keep this forever." Saturday delivery is extra-important for rural residents and seniors in northeastern Minnesota, Dulas said. In Minneapolis today, Gov. Mark Dayton will speak in support of continued Saturday service at a similar rally.
