DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton stopped in Duluth last evening to conduct a Town Hall meeting on his latest proposed budget plan. About 200 people attended the event that was held in the Public Safety Building. The Governor's plan to increase funding for schools received broad support from the crowd but some were not happy about the plan to raise taxes on the top two percent. The concern was the increase would drive the wealthy job creators out of the state. Details of the Governor's budget proposal can be found on the State of Minnesota website.
