MADISON, WI (KDAL) - Governor Scott Walker will sign the new mining regulation legislation into law on Monday.  The bill that overhauls mining laws to allow for iron ore mining in Ashland and Iron counties passed the Assembly on Thursday.  Walker is expected to sign the legislation when he visits Rhinelander today and there will be a ceremonial signing in Milwaukee as well.
