ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - Following a nail-biting, two-overtime affair with Breck that will likely go down as one of the best games of this year's boy's state high school hockey tournament, Hermantown moves on to face it's powerhouse nemesis, St. Thomas Academy, today at noon at the Xcel Energy Center. The Academy has beaten the Hawks in the past two Class A championship games.
Meanwhile, Duluth East fell to the Edina Hornets 3-2 in last night's marquee matchup between the numbers two- and three-seeds. The Hornets avenged their loss to the Greyhounds earlier in the season with the same brand of physical play the Greyhounds built their reputation on this year.
