DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The replica of a 1913 airplane that was the main attraction of the Lark O' The Lake Festival has reportedly crashed late this morning into the water on the bayside of Park Point near the Sky Harbor Airport. No injuries were reported but the wings of the plane appeared to be badly damaged as it was towed to the Sky Harbor Airport. According to the Duluth Fire Department the plane called "Lark of Duluth" had one person aboard when it crash landed. The pilot was picked up by a chase boat that also towed the plane to shore. No fuel spills were reported.
