Duluth, MN (KDAL) - What could’ve been a devastating end to a clean-up campaign in West Duluth has had a happy ending.  Teens from around Wisconsin and Minnesota, staying at a pair of churches in Duluth, spent the week cleaning up flood damage as part of the ‘Hands of Hope’ campaign.  Pastor Jonathan Lemaster of Northern City Baptist Church, which helped organize the effort, says four teen girls taking a shower in portable facilities Friday evening were overcome by carbon monoxide.  Two of the girls passed out.  One was able to get out of the shower and alert adults.  They were all rushed to the hospital where they recovered.  All were released with no ill-effects.  Lemaster says the issue with portable showers has since been repaired and he credits the teens’ quick recovery to prayer.
