Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker visited Superior yesterday afternoon on his statewide tour of towns. He promoted job creation and worker education. Walker also said he supported a stronger infrastructure in the Badger State.
Speaking at the airport in Superior Walker also said he supported mining in Northern Wisconsin and said a new mine near Ashland would support all of his initiatives.
Democrats in the State Legislature are expected to release their proposal for a comprehensive mining bill at the Capitol today.
