WASHINGTON, D-C (KDAL) - Minnesota's 8th District Congressman Rick Nolan is the co-sponsor of a bill that would end the war in Afghanistan sooner than the current 2014 target date. He says young men and women soldiers will continue to be killed and injured as long as the combat operations continue. He says it is time to stop building infrastructure in places like Afghanistan and get to work rebuilding America. The proposed bill would limit war funding to a "safe and orderly" withdrawal of all armed forces and military contractors in Afghanistan.
