DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Before it opens for business on Monday morning, the new Duluth Airport Passenger Terminal building will hold a dedication ceremony on Friday and a public Open House on Saturday. The Friday afternoon dedication will feature many of the people who made the new facility possible over the past ten year planning and building process. Then, from noon to 4 p-m Saturday, the public will be invited for a sneak preview of the terminal with self guided tours, prizes and family activities. Free parking is also offered at the airport short and long term lots and overflow parking will be available in the Cirrus lot with complimentary shuttle service. The facility will begin operations on Monday with the first flight out set for 6 a-m. The old terminal will close Sunday night following the final flight scheduled for 10:37 p-m.
