Duluth, MN (KDAL) - The future of the Last Place on Earth is back in the courts. The legal team for owner Jim Carlson has filed an appeal of a judges ruling that said the business was a public nuisance. While "the line" on Superior Street waits outside, another long term court challenge to the business is on hold while the appeal is in process.
At issue is the sale of manufactured marijuana and "Get Me High" bath salts that have made millions of dollars for the business over the last couple of years.
