UNDATED (WKZO) – A few medical scares were in the headlines over the holidays concerning leading political figures Hillary Clinton and George H.W. Bush. In an interview with Dr. John Wycoff D.O. on Michigan’s Big Show, host Michael Patrick Shiels got Wycoff’s expert opinion about the pair’s current state and the likelihood of a full recovery.
As explained by a press release from the Secretary of State’s office, Hillary Clinton suffered a blood clot outside a vein between her brain and skull behind her right ear leading to rumors that she would not recover in time to testify in the Benghazi trials. As Dr. Wycoff explains, the clot Clinton suffered was outside the vein therefore no bleeding happened inside the brain which would have been a much worse scenario. Dr. Wycoff expects Clinton to make a full recovery with “no problems whatsoever”.
News for former President George H.W. Bush however seems a bit bleaker. According to Wycoff, at Bush’s age and with his worsening condition functionality of all major organs are probably deteriorating causing a full recovery to be an unlikely possibility.
