DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Duluth Local Initiatives Support Corporation or LISC has announced an investment of over 2 million dollars in 2012 to strengthen core neighborhoods in the city.  LISC provided grant and loan financing to community based programs including many of the organizations involved in the At Home Duluth Program.  Now in its 16th year in Duluth, LISC secures its funding through the generous support of local and regional businesses, foundations and individual donors.  Since its founding, local LISC investments have totaled over 74 million dollars.
