DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Twin Ports and areas along the north and south shores of Lake Superior will see 4 to 6 inches of lake effect snow through noon on Thursday.  Greater snow amounts are possible in some higher terrain areas.  A Lake Effect Snow Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service and travel could be difficult in some areas.  Lake effect snow showers will vary in intensity over short distances.
