Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Workers continue the process of tearing down blighted properties in Duluth. Already one property located at 4109 Grand Avenue has been demolished and crews will have two more torn down this week. Duluth Mayor Don Ness tells K-D-A-L’s ‘The John Gilbert Show’ removing the properties will make room for needed housing. It will also encourage homeowners to improve their properties. The city and Vonco V have teamed up with Habitat for Humanity and Northshore Architectural Antiques to salvage items from the properties to benefit the community through donations and resale.
