DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A road project that will continue through October begins Monday on a five mile stretch of the Martin Road between Rice Lake Road and Jean Duluth Road. In addition to resurfacing, workers will be replacing selected curbs, gutters, storm sewers and culverts. The work will mean closing a two mile portion between the Arnold Road and Jean Duluth Road for about a month starting on Wednesday, August 7th and through traffic will not be permitted. Detour signs will be posted. The federally funded project will cost an estimated 4 million dollars.
