Duluth, MN (KDAL) - It was announced yesterday that Minnesota's jobless rate went down in September and remains well below the National average. In Northeastern Minnesota the numbers are even better.
In the Duluth Region September was one of the best months for job growth since 1992. Yesterday's report showed that employment was up by twenty-two hundred new jobs, an increase of point three percent.
The growth reverses a trend that goes back to September of last year. The Duluth region includes the city, St. Louis, Carlton and Douglas Counties.
