Duluth, MN (KDAL) - The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reports that in the first 24 hours of the Badger State's first wolf hunt that four animals were taken. Two where shot in the Northwestern corner of the State, another one in Central Wisconsin and the fourth in the Northeastern corner of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin hunters have until the end of February to complete their harvest, unless the courts intervene. Several animal rights groups are threatening to go to court to end the hunt.
