(KDAL) - About 500 Cooperative Light and Power members in the Island Lake area will experience some short power outages between 10 a-m and 2 p-m on Wednesday.  The outages are the result of necessary maintenance being done in the area during that time.  The outages will be about 20 minutes long.  Cooperative Light and Power provides electricity to nearly 6 thousand members in rural northeastern Minnesota.
