DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The St. Louis County Board took time at their meeting this week to honor over two dozen county employees for their work following the June flooding. Many workers put in long hours and canceled vacations to tackle the enormous task of repairing flood damage. The flood damaged over 14 hundred miles of roads and destroyed four bridges in St. Louis County alone. The board also noted that no lives were lost and no serious injuries resulted from the historic flooding.
