DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The National Weather Service Office in Duluth is looking to expand their Weather Observing Network, a group of volunteers who provide timely reports on snowfall and snow depths through the winter months.  The information helps forecasters issue more accurate warnings and provides communities with details needed to make weather related decisions.  Snow spotters are needed across northern Minnesota and into north central Wisconsin.  No special equipment is needed and details on how to sign up can be found at www.weather.gov/dlh
