DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A panel discussion is being held Friday night at the Center for Ethics and Public Policy at UMD. The panel will include three wolf hunt supporters and two opponents. Harold Goldman, the state Humane Society Director, says there is no biological reason to hunt the gray wolf and that it's being done for trophies and recreational killing. The DNR says a hunting season will not adversely affect the wolf population. The panel discussion is open to the public and UMD says a crowd of 200 to 300 is expected.
