DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Maurices and the American Cancer Society are hosting a lighting ceremony and city proclamation Friday evening to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Duluth. During the lighting ceremony, City Councilor Jennifer Julsrud and others will talk about the breast cancer awareness campaigns in October and the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk" on Saturday. Survivors, caregivers and supporters are asked to gather near the Maritime Museum tugboat at 7 p-m to watch the Aerial Bridge being bathed in a pink light to honor breast cancer survivors.
