SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - The Superior City Council has approved a 3.8 percent increase in the city's tax levy.  The decision follows reports that Police and FIre Departments would have to cut services without additional funds.  The increase will mean about 26 dollars more in taxes on a home valued at a hundred thousand dollars.  The council tabled a resolution on building a new animal shelter that would also serve Douglas County.
