Duluth, MN (KDAL) - It was opening night for the Holiday production of "Singin In The Rain" at the Duluth Playhouse at the Depot last night. The Gene Kelly classic is staged with real rain and here's how they do it. There are two stages, one built over the other and the top one is water resistant and slopes down into a drain. Overhead there are pipes and hoses that douse the set with water during the famous scene from the play and movie.
Tickets for "Singin In The Rain" are available by calling the Duluth Playhouse at the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center, the Depot in downtown Duluth.
