Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Though some ski areas around the state have opened here and there for a day or two, the weather recently has precluded most from opening on their target dates.
Spirit Mountain, which had been scheduled to open on tomorrow's holiday, now is aiming to open Nov. 30.
Giant's Ridge in Biwabik is now slated to open Dec. 1.
Lutsen's Ullr Mountain has two runs open, according to its website. More snow soon is promising though, as the resort recently doubled its fleet of high-efficiency snow makers.
Burnsville's Buck Hill, which had been open recently, is closed until further notice, according to its Facebook page.
Mont du Lac's website does not list a tentative opening date.
