Duluth, MN (KDAL) - An Elk River, MN man is going to jail for eighteen years for the beating death last November of a Proctor man outside the Powerhouse bar.  The two "took it outside" after sixty year old Dale Anderson interrupted Paul Joseph Welle who was bothering some young women in the establishment.

The judge in the case said in court yesterday that Welle was a violent man and a danger to public safety.
