DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Red curtains are going up in the storefronts of 25 downtown Duluth businesses on Monday as they start work on special displays for the Holidays.  The Greater Downtown Council's Window Display and Lighting Contest gives visitors to the downtown and waterfront area a chance to vote on their favorite display and to win gifts donated by the merchants.  The window displays will be unveiled on Friday, November 16th, just prior to the Christmas City of the North Parade.
