SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - The Superior Police Department is launching an iPhone app, named "SPDTip" which allows the public to send anonymous tips to the police.  The police can also respond back and have an anonymous chat if the tipster chooses to have a continued dialog.  The program works along with the department's existing text messaging service.  The tip app service is currently just for iPhones but an Android version is now in development and should be ready by early next year.
